Shattered Spirit – A Rant

What is most painful thing in the whole world? A question was raised.

One may speak based on their experience and all these answers revolved around the physical realm. Among all one stood out, his voice broken. “Grief” he said.

“I have felt physical pain but none hurts like that. Death comes once but that death manifests itself into us as something far more imaginable.” He was someone who just lost his family member who was young and healthy. “And however strong we maybe, even if you had loved or hated them, knowing they will not return the spirit will be shattered. They were a part of your life all this time. It is hard to let go. I feel like I’m a lost cause and their are those who depend on me.”

“This scar is rooted to heart and can not be healed by applying a gel or taking a tablet. Not even another persons love can fill this void because they are not them. And there are those who make it worse in the name of support. Till death comes to us this memory will forever haunt me even if I accept reality. I am a person who lives with this pain.”

Yet there is no correct answer for “What is the most painful thing in the world?”. Some are diagnosed with diseases which are incomparable to how they feel, and some bears pain in the form of emotions which will either mould them or break them.

We are all humans and life’s course is unpredictable. On the scale of one to ten, pain is pain and as long as the spirit remains strong no pain can engulf us. And no matter how strong we are prevention is better than a cure.

Pandemic

Stricken by fear and panic
Even the greatest warriors fall by an unforeseen enemy
For their spirit is shaken at first
Knocking the Wall of Defense
With heightened response its flight or fight
To prevent or to cure; still victims of a dreadful time
It is never about the strong nor the weak
But to stay strong in the time of the weak

Beyond the wall; Exposed
Unbearable pain manifests; A sufferer
Of (Either or both) physical and emotional pain
To be the one or see your loved one in distress
This of course is the material world; everything is felt

Though amid this chaos the world sleeps peacefully
As it was handed over to be taken care of
In the hands of services of Nations Pride.
All those scarifies will not die in vain!

No enemy to be taken likely
Divided and Conquering it spreads like wildfire
And in the same time we mustn’t be taken aback
United we stand (apart) to extinguish it in its path

The storm will pass; its a matter of faith n control
Till then To hold down the Fort is the task at hand
So that the World may wake up again
Not in the battlefield but at home where it should be.
